Just in time for the chill of winter, MAC introduces its new Warm & Cozy collection.  All soft peaches and pinks, glowing gold and bronzes, and warm browns, this collection reminds me of nothing more than snuggling by the fireside, the reflected glow of the flames warming up your skin.

Benefit Sugarbomb

If you're anything like me, you find it really hard to resist any of Benefit's cute little boxes of beauty powders.  So, of course, when Benefit introduced Sugarbomb, who Tonto jumped on that?  Me.

Benefit advertises that Sugarbomb gives you a "sugar rush flush".  Well, not so much.  At least, not on my NC45 skintone.  I think for fairer-skinned ladies, the shimmery mix of peaches, pink and plum will give you that desired effect.  On me, though, it's just barely perceptible.  Not enough to qualify as a blush or a "flush" of color, but great as a highlighter or to add a bit of shimmery oomph to my blush.  So, I recommend this as a blush for fairer-skinned beauties and as a highlighter for olive to medium brown complexions.  Ladies who are browner than me might want to give this one a pass.
 

L'Oreal Telescopic Explosion Mascara: Affordable Alternative to Givenchy Phenomen'Eyes

If you are intrigued by or a lover of Givenchy Phenomen'Eyes mascara (and I am, you can read my review here), but are not a fan of the somewhat hefty price tag, look no further, my love!  I have found that which will make your pocketbook and your lashes happy!  Allow me to introduce you to L'Oreal Telescopic Explosion Mascara!  This little beauty you see in front of you has the same prickly pear mascara wand ball of Phenomen'Eyes, at a fraction of the price.  And since I think the fabulosity of Phenomen'Eyes is mostly due to the wand ball applicator, why spend all that moolah?  Run right over to your nearest drugstore and pick up L'Oreal Telescopic Explosion (I like it in Blackest Black).  You'll have long, separated, sooty black lashes in no time.
